General FAQs
How do I get to Herne Bay Little Theatre?
We’re on Buller’s Avenue, just down the road from Memorial Park. You can find us on Google Maps
Is there parking?
Parking is on-street at the theatre. We kindly ask that consideration is given for local residents and emergency service vehicles.
Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?
Yes! We hold two seats for wheelchair users to purchase and if unsold we release them for general sale two weeks before the performance. If you require assistance moving around the theatre please ask a member of front of house staff who will be happy to assist. We regret that the green room is not currently wheelchair accessible.
Performance FAQs
What time should I arrive before the show?
The Green Room is open for drinks 45 minutes before the show starts. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before curtain-up to take your seats in plenty of time.
What happens if I arrive late?
If you arrive after the performance has started, our front of house team will guide you to your seat at a suitable breack in the action so as not to disrupt the actors or the rest of the audience.
Are performance amplified?
Our performances use natural acoustics, which is generally more than adequate in our little theatre. We do have a range of audio accessible technology available. Please ask at the box office.
Can I take photographs and video?
The use of camera and recording equipment, including mobile phones, is not permitted in the theatre. We kindly ask that mobile phones are placed on aeroplane mode or switched off for the duration of the performance.
Do you provide content warnings for your shows?
Yes, content and production warnings can be found on our What’s On page and on Ticketsource.
